3rd Line Engineer

Full time, permanent

Mon-Fri, 40 hour per week

Remote working opportunities possible

£30k-£33k per annum,

Dependant on skills and experience

The Role:

CETSAT have an opening for a 3rd Line Engineer to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone to provide 3rd Line technical support to our customers, managing and taking ownership of escalations, servers and network implementation projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • 3rd line support of server related incidents within agreed SLA's, via email, phone or face to face

  • Act as Project Management and Technical Lead 

  • Be an escalation point for more complex service issues

  • Ensure all incidents are updated in a regular, accurate and timely manner

  • Keep users informed about status at agreed intervals

  • Monitoring and reviewing quality of service delivered

  • Keep a record on the internal ticketing system

  • Provide technical support and mentor other members of the team

  • Maintaining technical qualifications and skill sets

  • Perform upgrades to and installations of new servers

  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support and project works  

 

Desired Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working within the IT Industry or similar role

  •  Ideally Microsoft qualification in server technologies or similar to MCSE standard

  • Excellent telephone manner and face-to-face communication skills

  • Knowledge/Experience of Servers, Scripting, Network Configuration and Office 365

  • Experience with CISCO, Juniper and SonicWall network devices 

  • CCNA, JNCIA, SNSA/SNSP or similar 

  • Experience of working with a Hyper Converged Infrastructure

  • Willingness to help, support and offer excellent service to customers and colleagues

  • Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
